Project Description

JP is the Prime Consultant for Sound Transit’s Residential Sound Insulation Program, designed to mitigate noise impacts from the Lynwood Link and East Link rail extensions. There are approximately 60 potentially eligible dwellings that are programmed into 4 phases. Previously, JP managed Sound Transit’s Central Link Light Rail Residential Sound Insulation Program, sound insulating 295 housing units by 2014.

  • Created GIS-based database for impacted properties.

Residential Sound Insulation Program

  • East Link Extension: Completed outreach and design for 5 housing units.
  • Lynwood Link Extension: Outreach and design anticipated Fall 2024.
