Our Vision for Livable Communities

At JP, our vision is to be the trusted partner for communities seeking to unlock the full potential of their spaces in innovative and creative ways. We are dedicated to enhancing the places where we live, learn, and connect by creating resilient, engaging, and healthy environments that stand the test of time. Our focus is on transforming existing spaces to make the most significant impact on community quality—preserving heritage, boosting resilience, and ensuring sustainability. By blending universal design principles with the unique needs of clients, we turn spaces into vibrant places that elevate the well-being of people and their communities.

Innovative Solutions, Sustainable Futures

Since our founding in 1984, we’ve been driven by a mission to transform complex challenges into opportunities for growth and sustainability. Our multidisciplinary team of architects, project managers, planners, construction experts, community specialists, and IT professionals work seamlessly together, sharing knowledge and expertise to create meaningful, lasting impacts. By prioritizing rehabilitation, reuse, and renovation, we’ve developed proven methodologies that preserve and enhance existing structures, resulting in stronger, safer, and healthier neighborhoods. Our work doesn’t just change landscapes; it enriches lives.

It’s a privilege to be associated with such a diverse and dynamic group of individuals who share a mission of “Building Livable Communities through Integrated Services”. Providing clients with exceptional service and leading environmental noise mitigation programs to communities nationwide is very rewarding to me and everyone at the firm.

It’s rewarding to assist a homeowner through the residential sound insulation process. Witnessing improvements to their lives because of acoustical treatments and upgrades to their home is second to none. With these improvements, the reduction in their electrical bills is always such a welcome surprise and bonus for the homeowner.

Nadia Melim

Director of Architecture

Facilities architecture can be a complex puzzle to solve. There’s no blank canvas to start from and often there are issues that don’t weave well into an existing building. I enjoy finding creative solutions to these problems, making sure it feels right for clients while ensuring the spaces function better and are well-suited to the human body.

A term easily used; Difficult to apply. I work on projects and programs where the change in quality of life is measured not only by reduction in decibels, but in smiles, laughter, and tears.
