Project Description
As program manager, JP directed sound insulation efforts at Del Monte Elementary School in Monterey, California. JP provided program management, acoustic and architectural design, and specification and construction supervision services to reduce noise levels inside the school – in compliance with the Airport District’s Part 150 Noise Compatibility Plan.
Project Highlights
- Installed new acoustically-rated windows and doors.
- Constructed new sound-reducing walls.
- Assembled new acoustic ceilings with minimal roof structure.
- Installed additional combustion air and make-up ventilation.
