Architectural and engineering services for the terminal modernization and addition

In order to address increased security demands and rectify deficiencies inherent in the layout of the 1940 era terminal building, Jones Payne was tasked with creating a program to simplify circulation and efficiently consolidate functions within the terminal.  The resulting program incorporates approximately 11,000 SF of new passenger screening and waiting areas, with 14,000 SF of renovations.  Included in the remodel is the consolidation of airline ticketing offices and counters, new secure side concessions facilities, restrooms and a new baggage claim handling area.  The project was constructed in six phases to maintain passenger safety while remaining operational.
