Jones Payne Assists in Update of United States Navy’s 2005 Sound Insulation Guidelines

BOSTON, Mass., January 5, 2017 – The Jones Payne Group will support Blue Ridge Research and Consulting, LLC, Ecology & Environment Inc. and the United States Department of the Navy’s Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) to update outreach materials for the Navy’s 2005 Sound Insulation Guidelines for Residences Exposed to Aircraft Operations. The project’s scope of work is focused on preparing public outreach/educational materials from previously published documents, drawing heavily from content contained in the 2005 Navy Guidelines, the 2013 Airport Cooperative Research Program Report No. 89, “Guidelines for Airport Sound Insulation Programs”, and the companion CD to the 2005 Navy Guidelines. Jones Payne’s role will be to update the 2005 “RSI Planner” application.
