Jones Payne began its service to the Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) and its surrounding communities in 1997. Hired as lead consultant and program manager, Jones Payne managed the implementation of T.F. Green Airport’s (Airport) Residential Sound Insulation Program (RSIP). The Jones Payne team provided full turn-key services, sound insulating over 1,000 homes within a 7-year period. The RSIP ended in 2004.
In 2012, due to a runway extension project, Jones Payne was re-hired by RIAC as program manager to implement a 2nd iteration of the Airport’s RSIP. The 2nd round of the RSIP has resulted in the sound insulation of over 500 homes.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS:
Jones Payne worked in collaboration with Warwick Public Schools under contract with RIAC to provide building envelope and ventilation improvements to educational institutions in Warwick, Rhode Island. Jones Payne prepared feasibility studies to determine to how to improve the interior environmental quality of schools located near the airport. The studies were used to successfully secure FAA funding to sound insulate schools and resulted in improving the quality of the classroom environment for teachers and students.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
Since 2003, Jones Payne has worked with RIAC, providing land acquisition and property management support services for the Airport’s Voluntary Land Acquisition Program. Jones Payne ensures that properties slated for demolition receive seamless service during the pre-demolition, demolition and post-demolition process.

Jones Payne provided information management and GIS services to support RIAC’s noise mitigation programs with respect to project controls, community outreach, eligibility criteria, FAA reporting, and GIS.
