JP served as prime consultant to the Massachusetts Port Authority’s (Massport) Residential Sound Insulation Program (RSIP), providing comprehensive noise mitigation services. The RSIP, which began in 1984 with an initial 4-house pilot project, evolved into one of the most extensive sound insulation programs in the country. Massport created the RSIP to enhance airport and community relations as well as quality of life for residents living in noise-impacted communities surrounding Boston Logan International Airport.
