The Toledo Lucas County Port Authority (Authority) hired JP to provide GIS consulting services to organize data analysis and simplify project recording. The Authority initiated the project to report the final results of Toledo Express Airport’s Residential Sound Insulation Program (RSIP) to the FAA. JP constructed a new GIS system for the Authority, transferring all available data pertaining to the original RSIP project database into the system. JP gathered and integrated new and existing parcel data into that system, ensuring that it complemented the methods the Authority was using at the time. The new GIS system was also used by the Authority’s Noise Acquisition Program to direct the leasing and management of property and acquired structures.
