Atlanta Land Trust Collaborative

Information Management & Application Development

Atlanta Land Trust Collaborative (ALTC) hired Jones Payne to streamline and consolidate property inventory and homeowner information, centralizing its resources to enhance management and operational efficiencies. ALTC was created to promote the development of Community Land Trusts (CLT) in Atlanta to ensure permanently sustainable and affordable housing throughout the Atlanta BeltLine.  As prime consultant, Jones Payne provided comprehensive information management and strategic planning services, enabling ALTC to act as a central server that allocates skills, resources and funds to start-up and established organizations with parallel missions.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Built and implemented WeaverPRM, to inventory properties as well as assist ALTC in workflow, tracking and homeowner information.
  • Converted and imported all of ALTC’s data directly into WeaverPRM, simplifying the transition and minimizing the burden on ALTC’s resources.
  • Integrated WeaverPRM platform for ALTC sister organizations.
  • Enabled ALTC to act as the conduit for funding streams that require project tracking and status reports so that funders understand the impact of their support.
  • Provided continuing development services for WeaverPRM, including the ability for small adjustments to adding on entirely new modules to meet ALTC’s needs.

We believe that WeaverPRM helps us standardize and track how the individual CLT’s, under the ALTC umbrella, function and implement regional best practices. As we move to create new land trusts, WeaverPRM ensures the continuity and integration of all the CLT’s, while allowing them to maintain and protect their unique identity within each community. – Tony Pickett, ALTC Executive Director
