Northeastern University requested JP’s expertise to replace the roof and perform selective envelope improvements at Nightingale Hall. The design team assessed conditions of the existing roof, providing recommendations and cost opinions for specific areas of renovation. In the findings report, JP provided multiple roof options, recommending a built-up roof due to its complexity, including the amount of mechanical equipment on the roof, the long-term cost benefit, as well as a simplified process for future repairs. All drawings and documents have been completed and are awaiting bid.
