    46th Annual FAC Conference and Exposition

    Jones Payne’s Andrew Walter and Diane Carter are currently attending the 46th Annual Florida Airports Council Conference and Exposition from July 26-29 in beautiful Boca Raton, FL. This year's conference will discuss emerging trends in aircraft that utilize our airports, a look at “millennials” that will be joining our industry in the near future, and a discussion on multi-airport systems in the State.

    Residential Sound Insulation for the Community Development Commission of the County of Los Angeles

    The Jones Payne Group is proud to have been selected to assist the Community Development Commission of the County of Los Angeles (LACDC) "Build Better Lives and Better Neighborhoods" through its Residential Sound Insulation Program.  The program provides much needed relief from airport noise to the residents of Athens, Lennox, and Del Aire.  Our team will be ready to support

    Jones Payne at the annual meeting of the Community Land Trust of Western Marin (CLAM)

    On May 17, 2015, Jones Payne’s Greg Rosenberg gave the keynote address at the annual meeting of the Community Land Trust of Western Marin (CLAM).  CLAM is working on the redevelopment of a decommissioned Coast Guard site in Point Reyes Station, and brought Greg to both speak and consultant in regards to sustainable development practices which could serve as a model for the redevelopment of the site.

    San Diego’s Quieter Home Program reaches 3000th Home Milestone

    The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority recently celebrated the sound insulation of the 3000th home in its Quieter Home Program (QHP). The program treats a wide variety of contemporary and historic residential structures including single and multi-family homes, condominiums and apartments. Sound insulation treatments typically include installation of acoustical windows and doors, and, as needed, air conditioning or ventilation systems.

    Andrew Walter and Rodney Smith will be attending the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) GIS Conference and Exhibition.  This is the only conference specifically dedicated to the use of GIS at airports.

    Sarah Degutis, leader of the architecture practice group, is attending the 2015 LOCUS New England Leadership Summit: Closing the Next [Smart Growth] Deal.  This daylong conference is the first-ever regional leadership summit, held by Smart Growth America and LOCUS, brings together businesses, real estate and housing experts, and policy makers to help in building the region’s next great walkable spaces.

    Jim Cornwell, project manager in our Seattle office, will be attending the annual Regional Contracting Forum in Seattle, WA on March 10, 2015. The forum provides the opportunity to meet government contracting representatives and network with contractors, consultants, and suppliers all at one event.
