Noise is pervasive. Its impact is not limited to homes and residential communities. Noise generated by airport and transit operations can affect our ability to understand speech in places where we learn, worship and receive essential services. In fact, many noise mitigation programs adopt speech interference metrics as a guide to providing appropriate levels of sound insulation for classrooms, churches and other noise-sensitive public spaces.
Jones Payne has extensive experience managing the sound insulation of a variety of non-residential structures, from schools and churches to community centers and child care facilities. We understand the unique issues involved with facility sound insulation and are aware that our work impacts stakeholders’ ability to provide or receive service. Through consistent communication and collaboration, we address client and community needs, providing sound insulation treatments to occupied facilities with little or no disruption to daily activities.
