The City of Ontario's residential neighborhoods are a source of great pride, which the City demonstrates through its ongoing commitment to beautiful neighborhoods and encouragement of home ownership through several outstanding programs. The primary goal of the Quiet Home Program is to implement noise mitigation efforts to reduce aircraft noise in our community and increase land use compatibility in the areas around Ontario International Airport (ONT). Program funding is provided by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA). The Program, through the Housing Agency, administers and implements the two primary noise mitigation activities: Residential Sound Insulation and Land Acquisition/Relocation.
