Home Profiles is an organization and navigation aid that gives bidders access to detailed photographs and allows them to quickly and efficiently review conditions at specific areas of interest. The tool has proven to be highly effective in helping bidders respond to specific scope of work requests as well as providing a method for organizing home details into searchable specifications, details and plan sets. How it Works
Typical public bid projects schedule a time for potential bidders to visit the project site to review the information they need to know to prepare an adequate bid. However, residential sound insulation projects are somewhat unique in that there are many project sites; and each one is typically owned by a different party. Coordinating visits to each site for bidders is a complex task for airports to manage and is an inconvenience to site owners. Home Profiles solves this problem by collecting the information during an already scheduled design event and organizing the information for bidders based on the specified scope of work. Having this information readily available allows bidders to ask questions and resolve issues before they bid rather than submitting multiple change orders during construction, thus helping to ensure that your sound insulation projects stay on budget. Home Profiles also creates a complete electronic copy of the bid documents, including Plans, Specifications and Details. - Interactive details – Relevant project details can be inventoried and navigated on screen rather than flipping through a printed book. Bidders can zoom in and out of photographs to see specific detail components.
- Searchable Specifications – Specifications are fully indexed so they can be searched by keyword to find what you are looking for fast.
