Server Based Information Management and GIS System Development
The Jones Payne Group Information Management Services and GIS Team is very
experienced at designing systems to deliver information to technical and
non-technical professionals, and agency constituents in easily understandable
formats. When designing web-based applications, we place an enormous emphasis on
the ability to communicate information quickly and with the least effort
expended by the user. In this, we have been widely recognized as innovators and
unique technology providers.
For Seattle Sound Transit, The Jones Payne Group Information Management
Services and GIS Team recently implemented a web-based project collaboration
system that coordinates the efforts of project management and production teams
providing Residential Sound Insulation services for the Central Link Light Rail
Segment in King County, WA. The project included conducting a complete project
survey and developing the collaborative web environment for Seattle Sound
Transit and their project consultants. Work also included conducting onsite
training and system support as well as creating system user manuals.
We also designed a similar system for Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, in which we implemented a web-based project team collaboration space that included custom data collection and analysis forms. The project also required implementing a strategy to migrate the collected data into the client’s GIS portal website
