Jones Payne provided window design & architectural services for the Brownsfield Elementary School.

Jones Payne served as the Project Architect for Brownsfield Elementary School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The main building, containing school administrative offices, computer labs, cafeteria and 2 classrooms, received acoustical window and doors, along with air conditioning upgrades for spaces not served by the central chiller system. Three additional classroom wings totaling 18 classrooms, a 3 classroom kindergarten wing, and the library building were also treated, including upgrades to roof/ceiling assemblies. Three existing, and three new, portable classrooms were relocated to form an additional classroom “wing.” Selected ADA improvements, including handicapped ramps and railings were installed at the Kindergarten wing.
